Brian Brawdy, a former investigator of New York Police and a military weapons specialist who went on to become a freelance television reporter, has fitted his 2285 Lance Trailer with a solar powered generator produced by Solutions from Science. He powers his mobile and TV and Radio production studio with a solar powered generator and reaches his audience. He teaches his disciples on the significance of emergency preparedness, survival and self-reliance.

The 2285 Lance Trailer mobile residence of Brawdy dubbed as PowerHub 1800 is is connected to five 150 W solar panels and two 160 W wind turbines. The power generated by the solar and wind turbines are used to power the Narcold stainless steel refrigerator, two televisions and lights installed inside the van and will also be used in the future for the planned mobile TV/Radio production studio in the van.
