Easy Energy, a Phoenix Arizona company, declared that it has finished the erection of a solar water heating system for Orange Tree Golf Resort. The system is designed to reduce the usage of natural gas in nine boilers kept at the Scottsdale Golf Resort.
Easy Energy has erected around 200 flat panel solar energy collectors over the roof tops of the resort and included the required number of boilers to increase the output ratio of the system. The installation of the entire system was completed in six weeks time. The solar water heating system is one among the several clean energy initiatives undertaken by the Orange Tree Golf Resort. The installed system will provide heated water for use in the 160 guest rooms of the Orange Tree Golf Resort and to the laundry facility available in the location. The power generated by the solar system can be equated to offsetting nearly 465 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year, which corresponds to planting 34,500 tree saplings every year.
Brian Bartel, Easy Energy’s President, said that the using of solar water heating system is a competent way of harnessing solar energy. He added that Phoenix receives abundant sun energy for almost 300 days a year and has become an ideal location for implementing and using solar energy. He concluded that the institutions such as Laundromats, hospitals, hotels and apartments that do not use solar energy for water heating purposes will be wasting their money on use of fossil fuels.
