Centrosolar Introduces Thin Film Multi Professional PV Module

Centrosolar, a Hamburg, Germany-based Company, declared that it has formulated a new erection option called TF Multi Professional for installing thin-film solar modules.

The new option will enable the installation of larger sized thin-film solar modules over trapezoidal sheet metal covered roofs. Earlier such installation was possible only over plastic foiled roofs.

Thin-film solar module TF Multi Professional on a trapezoidal roof

The TF Multi Professional provided by Centrosolar can be fixed over trapezoidal roofs in two styles. They can be fixed perpendicular or parallel to the ways of the corners in the trapezoidal sheet metal, which are recognized as beads. When the modules are installed parallel to the ways of the beads, a substructure is installed utilizing top-hat rails. The rails are driven over the raised beads (elevations) at a right angle in the trapezoidal sheet metal. When the modules are erected  perpendicular to the beads, no substructure is required. The modules are just fixed by utilizing the drilling screws and a butyl type of special adhesive tape.

According to Dr. Josef Wrobel, Centrosolar’s Sales and Marketing director, the TF Multi Professional with its low weight structure is perfect for large sized industrial rooftops that often utilize trapezoidal sheet metal.
