WePOWER Acquires Wind Turbine Technology and Intellectual Property from PacWind

WePOWER LLC, a developer of clean energy solutions around the world, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of patented and proprietary wind energy technologies from PacWind, Inc.

"Our vision at WePOWER is to bring transformational, perpetual and clean energy solutions to the marketplace and PacWind's pioneering wind turbine technology, which was designed by industry veteran, Phil Watkins, made them a natural fit for us," said Marvin Winkler, Chairman and CEO of WePOWER.

Previously in a strategic relationship with PacWind, WePOWER recently announced the capacity to manufacture up to 500,000 PacWind vertical axis turbines in a twelve-month period.

"It is extremely gratifying for me and my family to have the value of my father's work and PacWind's technology recognized by WePOWER," said Mary Watkins, daughter of the late Phil Watkins. "He would be honored to know that his innovation in the clean energy field will continue to grow."

"Our firm's selective acquisition of PacWind's robust patents, processes and intellectual property is the next step in WePOWER's efforts to build a premier platform of wind, solar and magnetic energy products," Winkler added.

WePOWER believes in harnessing the wind to power our everyday utilities and will continue to pioneer the way to a clean energy future.
