The poll results highlight the fact that Americans prefer to save their energy costs through the use of appropriate technology.

TechNet and its member companies are of the opinion that reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, low electricity bills and improvement in the nation’s economic growth can be achieved through clever deployment of clean energy technologies and cutting edge innovation. In the beginning of the year 2009, a number of policy prescriptions from TechNet were included in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to create new green technologies, new efficiencies and a new smart grid.
