The Solarix Alpha solar charge controller has an automatic load reconnection feature. It is capable of selecting the system voltage automatically. It has different charging capabilities such as boost charging, float charging, equalizing charge and PWM shunt battery charging. The charge controller from Samlex America is equipped with field adjustable parameters. It monitors the battery’s charge status, connects and disconnects loads, and controls the charging procedures. The overcharge protection and charging process are controlled by the hybrid actuator along with pulse-width modulation.
The Solarix Alpha solar charge controller is equipped with two LEDs to show the controller and battery status. It adjusts automatically to the 12V/24V system voltage once it is installed. This controller is utilized with lead batteries together with current charge status calculation. Its maximum input and output short circuit current is 8A and the battery input voltage is 9V to 17V. The dimensions of the controller are 188x106x49mm, and the controller weighs 0.42kg.
