The PS600 BADU Top12 solar pump is equipped with a brushless DC motor that requires no maintenance. The pump end is a monoblock type that has an integrated strainer tank. The capacity of the strainer is about three liters. The pump shaft of the pump end does not come into contact with the fluid. The pump end consists of bolts made of galvanized steel, and carbon/ceramic/NBR mechanical seal.

The PS600 BADU Top12 solar pump features a controller that is mounted at the surface of the pump, with no submerged electronic parts. The controller can be used to control pump speed. The maximum efficiency of the motor and controller is 92 per cent. The PS600 BADU Top12 solar pump can operate in the temperature range of -30 to +45 degree Celsius. When operated by a solar generator, this pump requires nominal voltage of 48 to 72 volts DC. This pump, offered by Green Energy Products, can withstand a maximum water temperature of 60 degree Celsius.
