Lamb Energy Utilizes Sharp Polycrystalline Panels to Cover its Rooftop

Lamb Energy, a solar energy solutions providing company, went greener with the installation of Sharp solar panels over the roof of its headquarters located in Riverside California.

The company utilized 81 ND-216UC1 216 watt polycrystalline modules manufactured by Sharp to offer a power output of 17.5 kW. The installed solar system will offset nearly 60% of the electric power consumed by the company while preventing approximately 19.2 metric tons of CO2 release into the air every year. The company has also availed the $3 per Watt solar rebate benefit offered by the Riverside Public Utilities to save around $44,000 on its installation costs. The Sharp solar modules installed over the rooftop provide increased power production for every square foot of installation and withstand adverse weather conditions with ease.

Matt Shea, Lamb Energy’s Vice President of Business Development, said that the company specializes in the installation of Sharp solar panels and the panels have become an obvious choice of its own installation. He expressed his happiness in joining the green energy revolution with the solar installation at the headquarters of the company. Eric Hafter, Sharp Solar Energy Solutions Group’s Senior Vice President, called the selection as absolute vote of confidence from a company that deals with a variety of solar panels from different manufacturers and expressed happiness about the choice.
