AEG Power Solutions, a quality provider of power electronics and a fully owned company of 3W power, and Moog, a producer and provider of control solutions, pitch systems, blade sensing and rotor monitoring systems and slip ring solutions for the wind energy industry, have contracted a frame agreement pact valued around € 2 million for the delivery of chargers.
The engineers, at AEG Power Solutions, have designed its battery chargers to offer Moog a ready to utilize solution that conforms to the requirements of Moog’s Electric Blade Pitch System. The provided solution in turn renders improved energy and cost savings while ensuring the availability of energy. With an inbuilt AEG charger solution within its blade, Moog will be in a position to offer a consistent high performing sturdy system that maximizes the blade pitch control for increased efficiency, augmented life expectancy and typical direct energy saving when compared to other conventional solutions.
The AEG PS power supply systems are produced with quality components and designed to endure extreme weather conditions such as high level temperature, seismic environments and other ecological hazards under which the turbines need to function.
