Independent Power Offers Sharp NA-V128H1 Thin Film Solar Modules

Independent Power designs and installs solar electric systems using the Sharp solar modules. The Sharp NA-V128H1 is a thin film solar module that is made using amorphous silicon cells with a layer of microcrystalline silicon cells. This arrangement of silicon cells helps to harness more solar energy. The construction of the PV module includes polymeric back skin at the back and single layer glass in the front.

The Sharp NA-V128H1 thin film solar module is equipped with four bypass diodes that help the panel to provide maximum output even under different operating conditions. The photovoltaic module, offered by Independent Power, also features a proprietary design that reduces loss occurring due to variation in the module output. One Sharp NA-V128H1 solar module consists of 45 solar cells connected in series. The maximum system voltage of the thin film module is 600 volts.

The solar panel can operate in a temperature ranging from -40 to +90 degrees Celsius. The Sharp NA-V128H1 thin film solar module can withstand a maximum mechanical load of 1600 Pascals. The maximum power of the solar panel is 120 watts. The maximum power current is 0.688 amperes, while the maximum power voltage is 186 volts. The short circuit current of the solar module is 0.846 amperes and open circuit voltage is 238 volts. The dimensions of thin film solar panel are 1,009 x 1,409 x 46mm, while the weight is 42 pounds.
