Proven WT6000 (6kW) Wind Turbines from Solar Wind Works

Solar Wind Works provides a range of wind turbines, controllers, towers, tower kits and accessories. Wind turbines supplied by the company are available from different manufacturers, namely Proven, Bergey and African Windpower. The Proven WT6000 (6kW) wind turbine model incorporates a mechanical disc brake, which can be handled from the base of the tower.

The Proven WT6000 (6kW) wind turbine has downwind configuration and designed with a blade technology to run off-load. The shaped blade tips and low RPM make this turbine operate with low noise. With the low RPM permanent magnet, this wind generator can generate maximum output with varied wind speeds. It is easy to install and maintain, and it has no gearbox. The WT6000 wind turbine has a rated wind speed of 26mph and cut-in wind speed of 6mph. It has the capacity to withstand the wind speed of 145mph. The diameter of the rotor is 18ft.

The Proven WT6000 (6kW) wind turbine includes three blades, which are made of wood/epoxy materials and a brushless permanent magnet direct drive generator. The direct heating capacity of this turbine is 120V AC or 240V AC. The wind generator’s head weighs 1,100lbs. The annual output power generated by the WT6000 model is 9,000 to 19,000kWh. This 6kWh wind turbine is available in 48V, 120V and 300V models.
