The double walled polycarbonate glazing over the collector is lightweight, resistant to UV and has a high insulation value. The copper solar absorber plate is available in black crystal coating. The recommended flow rate of this collector, provided by SolarRoofs.com, ranges from 0.020 to 0.6GPM. The Skyline 10-01 has a maximum working pressure of 150psi. The heat transfer fluid used in the collector is propylene glycol or potable water with a capacity of .3 gallon.
