Fronius International offers Fronius IG series PV inverters. The Fronius IG 4000, IG 5100 and IG 4500LV inverters are used in commercial type of installations to turn in more power output.
Fronius IG Series PV Inverter
The inverters incorporate a patented MIX master-slave system concept to link two power circuits to achieve work sharing. During the periods of part-loads only one of the power circuits is engaged in the operation and both the circuits are engaged in work only during full-load conditions. This arrangement helps in achieving increased yield with reduced operating hours.
The inverters have a length x width x height measurement of 720 mm x 418 mm x 223 mm and weighs 19 kg. The Operating frequency range of these inverters is 59.3-60.5 Hz and consumes 15 W during the operation. The inverters incorporate NEMA 3R type of enclosure and operate in the ambient temperature range of -20 to +50°C. For smoother operations a controlled forced ventilation type of cooling is extended to the inverters. The Fronius IG series PV inverters offered by Fronius International are protected against over temperature by output power lowering method and also protected against surge.
The Fronius IG 5100 has a recommended PV power of 4000-6300 Wp, a max DC input voltage of 500 V, an operating DC voltage of 150-450 V and a maximum usable DC input current of 33.2 A. This module offers a maximum output power of 5100 W at 40 ºC, its nominal AC output voltage is 240 V, maximum AC current is 21.3 A and offers a maximum efficiency of 95.2%. The IG 5100 inverter meets all the safety, EMI and anti-islanding protection requirements.
