Fronius USA offers the Fronius IG 4500LV PV inverter. The patented MIX master and slave system concept incorporated in the module allows work sharing by linking two power circuits.
During the part load solar power generation conditions only one of the power circuits operates while both the circuits operate during full load conditions, thus resulting in increased output and reduced operating hours. The recommended PV power of this module is in the range of 3600 to 5500 W. Maximum DC input voltage of this model is 500 V, its operating DC voltage ranges from 150 to 450 V DC and its maximum usable DC input current is 29.3 A.
Fronius IG 4500LV PV Inverter
This solar inverter generates a maximum of 4500 W power at 40ºC and offers a utility range voltage of 183–229 V. The inverter offers a nominal AC output voltage of 208 V, and a maximum AC current of 21.6 A. The maximum efficiency of the Fronius IG 4500LV PV inverter offered by Fronius USA is 94.4%. This inverter consumes 15 W power during operations and <0.15 W during non working times at night. The length x width x height dimensions of this module is 720 mm x 418 mm x 223 mm and weighs 19 kg. This PV inverter incorporates NEMA 3R type of enclosure to protect the equipment against rain.
The solar inverter works effectively in the temperature ranges -20 to +50°C. For ground fault protection, this inverter incorporates an internal GFDI and an internal diode protects against DC reverse polarity. An internal DC and AC protection up to 6 kV protects the inverter against surges.
