It is designed to suit the requirements of apartments, offices, hotels and motels, condominiums, hospitals and schools. This water source heat pump uses R-22 refrigerant and PSC blower motors for efficient performance. It is suitable for institutional or commercial applications.
WaterFurnace Versatec Compact Horizontal Water-to-Air Heat Pump
The Versatec Compact horizontal water-to-air heat pump operates in a liquid temperature from 25 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. It is equipped with a three speed PSC fan motor with a thermal overload protection. This water-to-air heat pump supplied by Terralta incorporates a refrigeration system, which contains a reversing valve, high stability thermostatic expansion valve, water-to-refrigerant coaxial heat exchanger, airside coils, hermetic compressor, and safety controls. With the use of coaxial heat exchanger, safety controls and reversing valve, the compressor can be accessed. The coaxial heat exchanger provides maximum heat transfer at low and normal water flow rates.
The Versatec Compact horizontal water-to-air heat pump includes a cabinet made of galvanized steel. The internal components of the cabinet are easily serviced through removable access panels. The wiring connections are made within the cabinet to provide maximum safety. This heat pump is available in the following models: VLC09, VLC12 and VLC18. The VLC18 water source heat pump has an airflow rate of 600cfm and a flow rate of 5.0gpm. It has a cooling capacity of 16,900 BTU/h with 11.0 EER and a heating capacity of 16,300 BTU/h with 3.9 COP.
