RMT Enters Canadian Renewable Energy Construction Market

RMT, an engineering and construction company engaged in building constructions for renewable energy operations, has announced the expansion of its services in Canada. The company currently functions in Canada with the name RMT Canada Construction and supports wind and solar power generating companies in project site development, technology and building the services.

The company which has entered into the wind energy market as design and constructing company in 1996 has moved into providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services in the United States. Currently, the company has around 340 MW of solar energy and 420 MW of wind energy projects in its EPC project pipeline. The pipeline projects include its recently declared 18 MW solar facility in Pilesgrove, New Jersey.

Steve Johannsen, President, of RMT, called Canada as a known place for his company. He added that his company is engaged in offering energy and environmental consultancy services for a number of companies in Canada for nearly 20 years and offered support for site development for around 700 MW of wind energy projects. Frank Greb, Vice President and General Manager for RMT, said that his company has earned the reputation of delivering projects on time and cost-effectively. He added that his company has designed and built over 3,800 MW of wind energy projects and laid over 300 miles of high-voltage power transmission lines and knows the way to build large utility scale power projects and link them to the power grid.
