Sanyo HIT Power 180 Solar Modules from Milhouse Enterprises

Milhouse Enterprises offers a range of solar panels including the HIT Power 180 module, manufactured by Sanyo. The solar cell used in the PV module is made with ultra thin amorphous silicon layers that surround the thin monocrystalline silicon cell. The cell efficiency of the solar panel is 17.8 percent and the module efficiency is 15.5 percent. The photovoltaic solar module generates a maximum rated power of 180 watts. When the temperature increases, the solar panel generates more electricity than the conventional crystalline modules.

Sanyo HIT Power 180 Solar Module

The Sanyo HIT Power 180 PV module is suitable for grid-tie solar power systems. It can be used in places where renewable energy credits and performance based incentives are applicable. The solar module, provided by Milhouse Enterprises, features a double wall frame made of black anodized aluminum. Other components of the PV solar panel include MC4 locking connectors, junction box that is touch safe, and USE-2 outdoor rated cables. All these components are UL safety rated for fire, wind and hail.

The Sanyo HIT Power 180 solar module features maximum power current and voltage of 3.33 amperes and 54.0 volts, respectively. The short circuit current is 3.65 amperes, while the open circuit voltage is 66.4 volts. The photovoltaic panel produces 14.4 watts of power per square feet. The dimensions of the solar module are 51.9 x 34.6 x 1.8 inches, occupying a module area of 12.49 square feet.
