Swift Wind Turbines Available from Titan Electric Corp

Titan Electric Corp supplies Swift Wind Turbines manufactured by Cascade Engineering.  The Swift wind turbines are suitable for homes and commercial structures at urban and suburban places.

Swift Wind Turbine

The Swift wind turbine can be mounted on the roof top. The wind turbine is mounted on an aluminium mast. The turbine can generate the maximum power if it is mounted at the highest point of the roof.  The damping system in the mounting brackets of the turbine absorbs a range of frequencies. The diffuser in the turbine helps to lower the noise from the blade tips. The slow rotation of the blades reduces the noise and helps the turbine to be free from vibration.

The Swift wind turbine is a horizontal axis wind turbine and is connected directly to the grid. The grid utilizes the electricity generated by the turbine. The wind turbine can generate an output power of 1.0kW at 11m/s. The grid connection is a grid-tied system and is G83 certified. The blade of the rotor measures 7 feet. The mast is made of aluminium and measures 16 feet according to BS1387, ISO065 standard specifications. The turbine weighs 250lbs and has a maximum cut-in speed of 35m/s and a wind speed 64.8m/s.  The braking system in the turbine provides overspeed protection.
