Green Energy Resources Wins $27 Million Wood Biomass Deal with Germany

Green Energy Resources Inc. has won a 1-year, $27 million contract to supply high-powered woodchips to Germany from Texas for renewable energy. With over 16,000 BTUs of heat, the woodchips comprise more BTUs than majority of grades of coal and without emissions of carbon dioxide. An internationally approved scientific agency has tested and verified the woodchips’ heating value.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has awarded a contract to Pall Corporation to develop a vital filtration and separation processes for an advanced biofuels project of U.S. Department of Energy. By winning the contract, Pall Corporation has become a part of the National Advanced Biofuels Consortium (NABC).
