Solar Development provides solar roof tiles. The Elite Solar Tile is a residential solar electric system that can be installed using the conventional roofing methods. These solar roof tiles are fixed onto roofs similar to installation of conventional interlocking tiles. The weight and dimensions of a single Elite Solar Tile is similar to three standard roof tiles. Solar roof tiles are devoid of metal components that eliminate the need for ground wires. These tiles from Solar Development fit with conventional roof tiles and thereby avoid the need for altering pitch or roof lines. A total of 33 solar tiles can be laid per square area.
Elite Solar Tiles
Elite Solar Tiles contain flow-through vents that enhance the tile efficiency as well as its longevity. This roof tile from Solar Development has the capacity to withstand a maximum weight of 700 pounds.
The Elite Solar Tile produces a maximum power of 35 watts at voltage and current of 20.03 volts and 1.75 amperes respectively. The short circuit current and open circuit voltage of this roof tile are 1.89 amperes and 24.2 volts. The Elite Solar Tile has a maximum system voltage of 600 volts. The high voltage characteristic of this roof tile results in production of small string sizes that utilize minimal installation space.
