Syngas Liquid Fuel Generation from Solar Energy

The idea of effectively developing liquid fuels from solar power for use in combustion engines that can decrease CO2 emissions and assist reverse the process of greenhouse effect is not just a dream but a reality.

Already, devices are designed for usage with smokestacks of high CO2 generating factories that are later meant for drawing out surplus CO2 present in the air for the production of fuel. This process makes use of both CO2 and water for effectively generating the “Syngas” liquid fuel.

The Syngas generation process makes use of a two-chambered system, cerium oxide rotating rings as well as a parabolic mirror having the capability to heat the system’s inner chamber to a temperature of about 1,500 C. This entire process as well as its by-products ultimately creates a product that is carbon neutral where in all the carbon emissions that are generated from Syngas consumption are neutralized through CO2 harvesting in the stages of production.
