Lennox Industries Announces New Solar Powered HVAC System

Lennox Industries has announced the availability of first ever heating and cooling system combining solar power. It is an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning) system, which is directly connected to solar power and has the potency to drastically cut-down the power bills and carbon dioxide emissions.

The new SunSource Commercial Energy System supplied by Lennox connects the solar panels directly with the cooling and heating systems. The system can be fitted into the existing structure without much retrofitting. It does not require any changes in the electrical infrastructure of the building and can be installed quickly and easily than a conventional type of solar installation. The solar module assemblies included in the energy system incorporates plug-and-play wiring with incorporated micro-inverters. The system has nearly 80% lesser parts than a conventional solar system for the installation.

Each ready to install type of Energence roof system supplied by Lennox Industries can manage up to 21 solar panels, which is enough to meet the heating and cooling requirement of a building. The extra power if any generated more than that is required by the climate control system will be linked to the general power supply of the building or sent to the power grid of the utility company.
