Canadian Solar Enters into PV Modules Sales Contract with Fire Energy Group

Canadian Solar announced that it has entered into a PV modules sales contract with Fire Energy Group. As per the contract terms, Fire Energy will receive 60MW of PV modules in 2010. Canadian Solar has started shipments in January.

Fire Energy Group, a leading system integrator and provider of project management and distribution services, will be promoting the PV products from Canadian Solar in Germany, Spain, Morocco Italy, the U.S., China and the Czech Republic.

Chairman and CEO of Fire Energy Group, John Liu, said that this agreement is significant as it ensures high-quality Canadian Solar’s modules for the company to meet its customer requirements. He commented that the partnership is beneficial for the companies as both share the same philosophy of providing best quality and best service at reasonable price.

Chairman and CEO of Canadian Solar, Shawn Qu, said that the company is delighted to be working with Fire Energy Group, one of the European’s largest PV system integrators. Shawn Qu commented that the company is able to co-operate with best partners in each local market leveraging its global leadership, proven quality record, cost and scale. Shawn Qu said that the company was confident of delivering 60MW of PV modules as per the contract.
