A-Power Energy Generation Systems Delivers Wind Turbines in China

A-Power Energy Generation Systems, a fast-growing wind turbine manufacturer and a leading provider of distributed power generation systems in China, announced that the company has delivered 10 units of 2.7 MW wind turbines in China.

A-Power Energy Generation Systems had signed a "full-responsibility" contract to develop a 49.5 MW wind farm for the Jihe Orient Wind Energy Co., Ltd, which is based in Urat Rear Banner. The contract was signed on September 16, 2009. The wind farm is located in the township of Saiwusu, Guba County, Inner Mongolia. The first five turbines were delivered.

The company had also signed another contract on October 14, 2009 for the development of a wind farm with 19.5 MW capacity in the Donggang, Rizhao City of Shandong Province for which the first five turbines were delivered.

Through its operating subsidiaries based in China, A-Power Energy Generation Systems is the largest distributed power generation systems provider in the country. The company is focusing on environmentally friendly and energy-efficient renewable projects ranging from 25 MW to 400 MW. A-Power Energy has built China’s largest wind turbine manufacturing facility, which is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The annual production capacity of the facility is 1,125 MW.
