Low Voltage Circuit Breakers from ABB

ABB offers Low Voltage Circuit Breakers. The Tmax and Isomax molded-case and Emax air circuit-breakers are utilized for protecting the main power circuits, the generator auxiliary circuits, and other core setups in a wind power generator.

The ABB SACE molded-case (MCCB) and air (ACB) circuit-breakers extend best possible solutions for usages up to 6300 A with voltages up to 1000 V AC. They also offer DC protection for MCCBs and up to 1150 V AC and DC for ACBs. The circuit breakers can be used in tough weather conditions and are capable of exchanging details of data on the circuit breaker condition, incidence of tripping and other information from remote.

Low Voltage Circuit Breakers

The Low Voltage Circuit Breakers can be equipped with thermomagnetic or electronic releases. The thermomagnetic releases are appropriate to guard both alternating and direct current type of networks. The electronic releases can be utilized for detecting faults only in AC type of networks. In addition to safeguarding functions the releases offer measurements on features such as voltage, current, power factor, power frequency and energy and peak power. The circuit breakers offered by ABB also allow serial communication with remote control for total administration of the plant.

The circuit breakers offered by ABB are designed to meet the certification requirements of climatograph 8 of IEC60721-2-1, vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and resistance to impacts according to IEC 60068-9-27.
