Juhl Wind Begins Building the $3.6 Million Wind Energy System in Minnesota

Juhl Wind has started the construction of its $3.6 million wind energy project at the Winona County in Minnesota.

This project is anticipated to get completed by 2010 end or by 2011 beginning. This Winona County project has become one of the initial sites in the North American region for utilizing two Unison direct-drive wind turbine generators that are based on a gearless, advanced system, a leading technology in this field.

Juhl Wind CEO, Dan Juhl has mentioned that this wind energy project represents one of the rapid growing business areas wherein the company develops wind systems for the local communities as well as institutions such as universities, colleges and hospitals. Such customers recognize the company’s capabilities and knowledge in handling smaller projects in terms of being built quickly as well as being put into service.

The Winona County project’s construction startup has been made possible by Juhl Wind’s ability in putting together a financial structure with a win-win situation that has worked well for the community as well as for the trading partners. Juhl Wind has long been an established leader for the wind energy industry with focus on wind farm projects across Canada and the USA towards wind power management and development.
