Ultrasonic Systems Introduces Heated Vacuum Chuck Feature to the Prism Spray Coating System

Ultrasonic Systems (USI), a producer of spray coating equipment that are used in semiconductor, solar and fuel cell market applications, declared that it has introduced the heated vacuum chuck option for use with the Prism spray coating system.

The heated vacuum chuck facility comes handy for coating applications for wafer, thin substrate, membrane and foil, where it betters the control of the substrate to attain the required uniformity and thickness in performing the coating. The program facility available with the chuck allows it to heat the substrate up to 150° Celsius. The chuck boasts an evenly formed aluminum chuck plate for smooth vacuum draw over the entire surface of the chuck. Vacuum required for the chuck is provided through an attached venturi vacuum generator. The chuck is supplied in two size options to meet different operational requirements.

The easy to handle and easy to set up Prism spray coating system can be utilized for both research and development applications and production within assembly markets such as fuel cell, electronic assembly and semiconductor. The Prism systems manufactured by Ultrasonic Systems incorporate its patented nozzle-less ultrasonic spray head expertise to increase the material spraying efficiency up to 99%.
