Bob Geldof to Speak About the Benefits of Biofuels

Sir Bob Geldof will be a keynote speaker at the 2009 World Biofuels Markets (WBM) congress and exhibition, to be held in Brussels on the 16-18th March.

The use of biofuels can aid Africa, supplying decentralised generators and underpinning African economical development. As part of Sir Bob's commitment to the economic freedom for Africa, he will address this issue at WBM, explaining his vision for the future to the global biofuels community.

"We are very pleased to have Sir Bob Geldof speaking at the WBM 09 Congress" said Nadim Chaudhry, Managing Director of Green Power Conferences. "Biofuels has received far more than its fair share of negative press and yet there is tremendous potential for a sustainable biofuels industry to help Africa on the road to clean energy independence without impacting upon food production".

Sir Bob joins Lord Browne, former CEO of BP, Dr Hermann Scheer, Member of German Parliament and nearly 200 CEO's and expert speakers.

About WBM - the 4th annual World Biofuels Markets Congress and Exhibition will once again hit Belgium. Between 16-18 March 2009, the Brussels Expo Centre will play host to CEO's and senior industry leaders from across the entire biofuels world. 200+ expert speakers and 100+ exhibitors will share information on the latest news, views and the latest innovations from the biofuels world.
