Solar Power International 2011 Conference to Take Place in Dallas

Solar Energy Trade Shows’ Board of Managers has selected the city of Dallas in Texas for the Solar Power International (SPI) 2011 conference and trade show. The event will take place at the Dallas Convention Center in the month of October from 17th to 21st. For the solar power industry in the North American region, SPI is the biggest B2B conference and trade show. Recently, Tradeshow Week has recognized SPI as one among the Top 50 fastest growing trade shows in the United States. Over 25,000 attendees participated in the 2009 conference.

Executive Director of Solar Energy Trade Shows, Brian Tully, said the company is delighted to conduct the Solar Power International 2011 conference and trade show in Dallas. It is perfect to hold the show in Dallas since Texas is an emerging solar power market and energy hub in the country. The company hopes to highlight this emerging market and build upon the show’s previous successes to retain its leading position in the country, Tully said.

During the last five years, a record growth has been posted by Solar Power International, reflecting the significant growth of the solar market in the United States. Solar Energy Trade Shows will hold the Solar Power International 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center from 12th to 14th October and PV America 2011 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from 3rd to 5th April.
