Solar Skies provides the NSC-32 North Star Solar Collector. This solar collector model is constructed utilizing an I-Beam structure and anodized aluminum frame for increased sturdiness and aesthetic look.

This model is designed to withstand wind speed of up to 180 mph. The outer cover of this model is made of low iron tempered glass and the absorber material used in tube, plate, and fin are made of copper. The side and back insulations of NSC-32 model are made of polyisocyanurate material.

The NSC-32 North Star Solar Collector provided by Solar Skies has a gross area of 32.67 sq.ft, net aperture area of 29.60  sq.ft, dry weight of 133 lbs, and has fluid capacity of 11.3 gallon. The glazed material of this model is made of a single sheet of tempered glass with low level iron content and has a thickness of 1/8 inch. The transmission capability of the glass is 91.0%. An EPDM channel with molded corners is utilized in glazing gasket. The tube and sheet utilized in the Thermafin manufactured solar energy absorber are forge welded without soldered or crimped joints for lasting usage.

Each NSC-32 North Star Solar Collector model offered by the Solar Skies is individually leak tested at 125 PSI. This model has a recommended flow rate of 0.5 to 1.8 GPM.
