Investments in Clean Technology Industry up by 32% in 2009

In 2009 first quarter, new investments amounting to $157.2 billion was made making it the best investment quarter for the year.

The investments in the clean technology market have risen gradually with a CAGR of 30% from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, the number of deals was 2,853 and in 2009, the deals declined to 2,176.
