Bornay 6000 Wind Turbine Provided by Bornay Aerogeneradores

Bornay Aerogeneradores offers the Bornay 6000 wind turbine. The power generated by this wind turbine can be utilized for home electrification, pumping water and grid connected applications.

Bornay 6000 Wind Turbine

This model incorporates three blades, each measuring four meter and made of fiberglass and carbon fiber. The Bornay 6000 wind turbine performs anticlockwise rotation while generating power. For the purpose of controlling the speed this wind turbine deploys an electronic regulator or goes inert by tilting the blades.

This wind turbine has a three phase permanent magnet alternator utilizing neodymium magnets. The nominal power of this wind turbine is 6000 W; the rated voltage is 48–120 V at a maximum of 600 rpm. The regulator utilized in this model supports 48 V 150 A and for grid-connected applications it supports 120 V. This wind turbine starts functioning at a wind speed of 3.5 m/s and produces a nominal output at 12 m/s speed and the automatic brake system is initiated when the wind speed crosses 14 m/s. The Bornay 6000 wind turbine is designed to survive a maximum wind speed of 60 m.

The Bornay 6000 wind turbine has a dimension of 120 cm x 80 cm x 80 cm and weighs 107 kg. The regulator utilized in this wind turbine weighs 18 kg.
