Bornay Aerogeneradores offers the Bornay 1500 wind turbine. This wind turbine rotates in the anticlockwise direction and incorporates two blades, each blade measuring 2.86 m in diameter.

The blades are made of fiberglass and carbon fiber. For efficient conversion of wind energy this wind turbine incorporates a three phase permanent magnet type of alternator. The magnets utilized in the alternator are made of Neodymium.

Bornay 1500 Wind Turbine

The Bornay 1500 wind turbine produces a normal power of 1500 W at a 700 rpm speed in 24, 48 120 V voltage ranges. The regulator incorporated in the wind turbine supports 24 V 80A and 48 V 40A for DC storing applications and 120 V for direct grid connectivity. The Bornay 1500 wind turbine manufactured by Bornay Aerogeneradores has a measurement of 50 cm x 77 cm x 57 cm and weighs 57 kg. The regulator used in the wind turbine weighs 8 kg.

This medium-sized wind turbine automatically turns on when the wind speed reaches 3.5 m/s. The nominal power output is achieved when the wind speed reaches 12 m/s. The automatic safety brake system included in the wind turbine is brought into action when the wind speed reaches 14 m/s. The sturdy design of this wind turbine allows it to withstand wind speeds up to 60 m/s.
