G-3120 - 35 KW Wind Turbine

The G-3120 grid connected wind turbine incorporates three downwind type of blades made of fiber glass epoxy and fixed over a horizontal axis. Each blade of this wind turbine measures 9 m in length. The rotor of this wind turbine has a diameter of 19.2 m and offers a swept area of 290m². The rotor speed of this wind turbine is 42 rpm and its over all weight is 3990 kg.

The G-3120 incorporates a twin caliper brake system for easy closing down of the turbine operations during high velocity winds, grid failures and maintenance. A pitch control brake system utilizing a passive spring-loaded device is offered as secondary safety brake. The G-3120 wind turbine supplied by Endurance Wind Power incorporates an induction type of generator with 3Ö, 480 VAC or 600 VAC at 60 Hz  or 400 VAC at 50 Hz configurations. A programmable logic controller is used for controlling the wind turbine with a wired or wireless user interface.

This wind turbine model is available in 30.5 m, 36.5 m and 42.7 m tower sizes in free standing monopole or free standing lattice models. The cut-in wind speed of this turbine is 3.5 m/s, its cut-out wind speed is 25 m/s and the maximum survival wind speed is 52 m/s.
