Planetary Systems offers the VAWT-C1KW Wind Generator. This vertical axis wind turbine incorporates eight numbers of fiberglass reinforced vertical blades and the blade assembly measures 8.25 ft in diameter.
This wind turbine produces 24/48 VDC voltage and a max power of 1000 W with an optimal wind speed of 55 mph. The blades of this wind turbine are bolted to the hub at a fixed angle and use stall control to manage high velocity winds. The VAWT-C1KW Wind Generator offered by Planetary Systems deploys a permanent magnet brushless rotor.

The power generated by the wind turbine is distributed using three wire AC power connectivity. The installed controller in the wind turbine starts the wind turbine at 17 mph wind speed, maintains the rotation of the wind turbine at an optimum speed and shuts down the wind turbine when the wind speeds reach the survival wind speed of 112 mph. The wind turbine is mounted over a schedule-40 steel pipe measuring 5 in. in diameter.
This wind generator can be installed at higher levels by using an optional tower measuring 10 ft in height.
