Brook Henderson and OWPMS Partner to Construct Wind Farm Support Vessels

Offshore Wind Power Marine Services Ltd (OWPMS), a specialist in offshore wind farm support vessel, has collaborated with The Brook Henderson Group, a mission critical asset services provider, for providing a customized package for operators involved in offshore wind farms, targeting vessel supply during operation & maintenance and construction stages across Asia, North America and Europe.

The Brook Henderson Group is allocating its financial resources, £30 million in equity, for building around 60 vessels within the next two years.

Co-Founder of OWPMS Eddie Ward commented that the financial support of the Brook Henderson Group has been timely, as the recent slump of the banking industry has made it difficult to raise funds.

The Commercial Director of OWPMS Rob Stewart has charted out the joint venture’s strategy. The vessels’ design, fleet structures, access systems and training will be streamlined, under an integrated process focusing on reliable, cost-effective, safe access to the turbines.

The clients of OWPMS include Siemens Wind Power, Vattenfall, Dong Energy and RWE Npower.
