The Havsnas Wind Farm situated north of Stromsund in Jamtland County is designed to produce 95.4 MW of clean wind energy to meet the power requirements of around 50,000 households every year. The wind farm deploys 48 Vestas V90 wind turbines, 70 Km tracks, a substation and five wind measuring poles. The wind farm is located over three hills at Ritjelsberget, Jarvsand and Ursasen with 21, 16 and 11 numbers of turbines placed respectively at each location. The project commenced its constructions during March 2008 and completed it during the summer of 2010.
