eddy's Introduces Sustainable Edible Spoon

Following three years of extensive research and development eddys is set to transform the single use cutlery market with the launch of its first product, a deliciously sustainable edible spoon. The UK uses billions of single-use cutlery items per year with only a very small proportion being recycled. eddys’ solution is simple: have your spoon and eat it too.

Launching exclusively in partnership with The After School Cookie Club, eddys will provide consumers with their first opportunity to do their bit by munching, nibbling and chomping their way to a more sustainable future.

Delicious first and sustainable always, eddys is made from a blend of five grains and seeds chosen for their depth of flavor, nutritional benefits and texture, and is as versatile as you want it to be. With ambitions to partner with all major QSR outlets, amongst others, eddys already has exciting conversations underway with many high street heroes - savoury, sweet, hot or cold - no matter what you’re eating, if it's cutlery you need on the go, then eddys has you covered.

eddys is the creation of a sustainably driven, entrepreneurial family business committed to making the world more sustainable by providing a deliciously edible solution to the world’s throw away cutlery culture. Following extensive research with Goodsense, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive - be you a spoon cruncher, spoon nibbler or spoon muncher - everyone loves spooning with an eddys.

Pioneers for a deliciously sustainable future, eddys allows you to spoon with confidence, safe in the knowledge that no trees are harmed in the process. A taste of the future and for a better planet, spooning has never felt so good.
