GT-X Series Heat Pump

Geothermal heat pumps, supplied by Smith-Derousseau Heating & AC, are manufactured by Carrier. These function with efficiency and reliability in any season, all year around. The major series are the GT-X Series, GT-PX Split Series, GT-GS Split Series, GT-S Outdoor Split Series, GSW Series and YEW Series. The models in the GT-X Series are the 50YCD, the 50YCH and 50YCV. The closed loop models in this series offer an Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) of 18.5 with a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 3.8. The open loop types, on the other hand, provide an EER of 23.9 and COP of 4.1. These heat pump models come in horizontal or vertical top discharge types.

The cabinet of the GT-X Series of heat pumps, supplied by Smith-Derousseau Heating & AC, is insulated, ensuring a quiet operation without any disturbance. The blower equipped in these heat pumps is available in single speed or variable speed models. The air coil is also coated for better longevity and functioning.
