Radco DBHX 6000 Series Drainback Heat Exchange Modules

The Radco DBHX 6000 series drainback heat exchange modules can operate in any climatic conditions. They feature fail-safe and automatic freeze protection. These heat exchange modules require no propylene-glycol to safeguard the systems from freezing temperatures. The closed-loop feature guard the fluid passages of the collector from mineral accumulation. The Drainback Heat eXchange module (DBHX) developed by Radco Products incorporates solar collector fluid circulator pump, collector fluid reservoir, hot water booster circulator pump, single-walled heat exchanger, and temperature controller unit.

The Radco DBHX 6000 series are available in two models, namely EDX 6002 and EDX 6005. The EDX 6002 heat exchanger tank’s maximum accumulator tank pressure is 50psi and its approximate heat transfer service is 5 square feet. Its maximum operating temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The tank has a total fluid capacity of 7.5 gallons and usable fluid capacity of 5.8 gallons. It is insulated with 1 inch fiberglass blanket. The EDX 6002 has 115VAC solid state controller. Its input is 60Hz and 10A, and the output is 115VAC and 7.2A. This heat exchanger tank is available in a height of 32 inches, width of 18 inches and diameter of 12 inches.
