Western Wind Energy to Procure Wind Turbines from Gamesa for Windstar Project

Western Wind Energy has declared that it has acquired 120 MW of Gamesa G8X-2.0 series of wind turbines. Gamesa would supply the total 120 MW to Windstar wind project at the Tehachapi Pass in Southern California.

Northland Power Income Fund to Build Wind Farm in Frampton, Quebec

Northland Power Income Fund announced that it has received a power purchase agreement for a 24 MW wind farm in Frampton, Quebec, in proximity to the St. Lawrence sea shore. Under the 20-year agreement, the company will build and operate the wind farm.
