Development of Wind Energy Sector in Poland

According to a report titled, ‘2010 Wind Energy in Poland,’ published by TPA Horwath, a consulting firm, Domañski Zakrzewski Palinka, a law firm, and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, the growth of wind energy during the first nine months of 2010 was 51% and is expected to go up to 75% by the end of the year.

Turkey Begins Issuing Licenses for Private Wind Energy Operators

Turkey will soon have a number of wind power generating farms. First Wind Receives $98 Million for Financing Rollins Wind Power Project

First Wind, a wind energy company based in the US, has confirmed that $98 million has been obtained from the Key Bank National Association (KeyBank) and Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale for financing its 60 MW Rollins Wind Project, located in Penobscot County in Maine.
