Raser Technologies Launches Video Update on Collaboration with Hyundai Heavy Industries

Energy technology company Raser Technologies, Inc. has released a video update on its relationship with Hyundai Heavy Industries, a provider of renewable energy generation equipment and grid-electrical equipment. Hyundai Heavy Industries is a producer of photo-voltaic solar panels and wind turbines. This company also intends to expand its global distribution and manufacturing capabilities.

Recently, the two companies met at the headquarters of Raser Technologies at Provo, Utah, to further their collaboration in manufacturing plug-in electric vehicles and producing clean renewable energy. The meetings came as a follow up to an earlier meeting conducted in Korea in 2009 when the companies discussed on ways to use electricity to power vehicles.

The two companies share a common vision to produce clean renewable energy for powering electric vehicles even as the planet makes a transition to electricity from petroleum for transportation purposes. In 2006, the companies inked an agreement for facilitating Hyundai Heavy Industries to produce the sophisticated generators and electric motors of Raser Technologies for renewable energy production and electric vehicles.
