Pro-Tech Energy Solutions LLC, an energy services company, is helping the Mansfield Township Elementary School by way of upgrading the school building’s lighting system with energy efficient upgrades. The school is situated in the Mansfield Township in Port Murray, New Jersey.
This upgradation is for solving two problems, one towards reducing the maintenance costs and the other towards energy consumption. Thus far, Pro-Tech Energy Solutions has retrofitted 20 units of 234-W fluorescent high-bay lighting fixtures from 400-W metal halide fixtures. This will also help in increasing the levels of lighting exposure, reducing energy consumption in half while improving the rendering of colors.
Pro-Tech Energy Solutions’ remainder of upgrades are expected to provide major energy savings for the school by about 30 to 40% overall. The company is anticipated to upgrade all the existing lighting systems throughout the school with higher efficiency models.
