Helix Wind Introduces its Upgraded Wind Turbine Monitoring System

Helix Wind Corp has declared the introduction of a new wind turbine monitoring system (WTMS). The monitoring system comes with a superior smart grid technology to supervise the functioning and period of working of the Helix Wind Savonius turbines and its associated power systems.

The current release of WTMS is comparatively smaller in size than the earlier versions and incorporates a sophisticated web connectivity that can be reached from any computer with a web and browser access during any time of the day and from any place in the world. The WTMS web based software continuously supervises, puts down and reports a wide range of performance details such as grid frequency, wind speed, inverter functions, turbine output and a range of other changing details. The company is planning to provide its upgraded version free of charge to its existing WTMS clients.

Scott Weinbrandt, Chairman, CEO and President of Helix Wind, said that the newly introduced WTMS smart grid technology can be utilized with all types of Helix Wind Savonius turbines. He added that the new WTMS has all the distinctive features of Helix Wind Solutions such as longer working period, consistency and accountability. He added that the improved smart characteristics of the wind turbine offers the clients lucid and wider data details on the wind turbine functioning.
