Vestas to Supply Wind Turbines to BOREAS Energie

Vestas a wind turbine developing, producing, erecting and supporting company, declared that it has obtained an order from BOREAS Energie for the supply of 19 VestasV90-2.0 MW wind turbines with 125 meters hub height for a wind energy project in Germany.

The proposed wind generation plant will have a production capability of 38 MW. According to the terms of the contract, Vestas will supply the required wind turbines, erect them and put them into service. The company also will offer its exclusive and patented VestasOnline Business SCADA solution under a long-term maintenance and service accord. The company has plans to commence the delivery of wind turbines this year.

Hans Jörn Rieks, Vestas Central Europe’s President, said that his company is happy to work for a committed wind energy developing company such as Boreas. He added that his company anticipates meeting the productivity expectations of its client and serving them through the signed long-term service accord.

Jörg Kuntzsch, BOREAS Energie’s Managing Director, appreciated the flexibility shown by Vestas in understanding the requirement of BOREAS, their technical expertise and quality of the products meeting the requirements of the market and the importance of long term cooperation between the companies.
