In order to decrease expenditures and enhance durability of susceptible photovoltaic equipment, Henkel has introduced a complete line of sealants, cleaners and adhesives for photovoltaic production and deployment.
These ultra- tech products from Henkel meet the important regulations of the photovoltaic business and are broadly utilized in a number of applications, including deployment of large solar arrays and silicon wafer manufacture. Henkel offers its solar manufacturing products under the brands Hysol, Purmelt, Liofol, Multicore, Loctite, Macromelt, P3 and Teroson.
Henkel’s ultra- tech products are exclusively developed for silicon wafer production that comprises wafer cleaning and ingot bonding and concentrator module manufacturing that includes housing assembly, solar cell bonding and glass/PMMA lens sealing and bonding. They are also used for the manufacturing of frameless thin film modules, comprising module mounting and frameless sealing and thin film module and crystalline manufacturing, comprising module framing & mounting, electrically conductive bonding and junction box fixturing/ potting/sealing/ bonding. In addition, these products are used in the production of building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) with flexible solar modules such as laminating on flexible roofing membranes, junction box potting/bonding, laminating on metal or plastic panels and weather/UV protection.
