THE 2012 AUSTRALIAN CLEANTECH COMPETITION HAS BEEN LAUNCHED

The 2012 Australian Cleantech Competition was launched yesterday by Mark Dreyfus, Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Innovation.

Come and hear about some of last year's success stories and why this year the competition is bigger and better.

Cleantech Business Accelerator Program - Up to 30 Competition Semi-finalists will qualify for an intensive, tailored mentoring program on commercialisation pathways, business modelling, venture capital funding solutions and successful pitching. This will run during July and August.

Australian Cleantech Investment Showcase - Each Semi-Finalist will have the opportunity to pitch at the national Cleantech Investment Showcase in October. Finalists Delegation to Global Finals in Silicon Valley - The 2012 Competition Winner will represent Australia at the Global Cleantech Competition in Silicon Valley in November. The other Finalists will be invited to join the delegation attending this event for a week of mentoring, meetings with international investors, business services and other entrepreneurs.
