This contest is one element in Marcal's ongoing campaign to save one million trees and provides consumers an opportunity to get involved by submitting original artwork that showcases their appreciation for trees.

The grand prize winner of Marcal(R) Small Steps(TM) "Save the Trees" Paper Towel Design Contest will win a trip to 'hug a giant tree' at California's Sequoia National Park, a year's supply of Marcal(R) Small Steps(TM) 100% recycled paper products, and the winning artwork may be used as inspiration for future Marcal(R) brand product packaging.
The "Save the Trees" Paper Towel Design Contest is open to artists and tree lovers of all ages in the contiguous United States. Contestants are asked to submit original drawings that show their imagination and passion for trees. There is no purchase necessary, and contestants are encouraged to submit multiple drawings. (Minors must have parent or guardian co-sign and submit the entry form along with the artwork.) Entries will be accepted by postal mail or e-mail until June 30, 2009, and winners will be announced on or around July 16, 2009.
