Windhager UK offers the SolarWin SWA 225 flat plate solar collector that features the latest technology. The solar collector is designed to be installed on-roof. The only fuel the solar thermal collector uses is the sun energy. The solar domestic hot water system is suitable for all kinds of properties or buildings. It is also compatible with Windhager log gasification and wood pellet appliances. The solar collector is designed with copper absorber featuring highly selective coating.

The absorber provides 95 percent of absorption and 4 percent of emission. The front cover of the SolarWin flat plate solar collector is made of 4mm hardened solar glass that is hail proof. The glass cover offers low reflection and high radiation permeability. The frame for the on-roof collector is made from powder coated aluminum. The double walled on-roof collector frame has profile sections, featuring welded mitre joints, and inbuilt glass holder.

The SolarWin SWA 225 flat plate solar collector has to be set at an angle of 15 to 70 degrees. The maximum operating pressure of the solar hot water collector is 10 bar. The solar collector, provided by Windhager UK, covers a gross area of 2.25 square meters, with light inlet area of 2.02 square meters. The absorber of the solar collector measures 2.01 square meters in area. The capacity of the solar thermal collector is 1.95 liters.
